Dolls, I'm leaving 2022 behind in all of its unpretty... For 2023, I bring you my updated, perfectly pretty makeup routine! Shopaholics, if you know me at all, you'll know that I'm a whore for Ariana Grande Cloud Eau De Parfum. It's been my signature scent since my Mum and I were in heaven with how a makeup artist smelt and she graciously told us her source. My Mum then gifted it to me for my 18th Birthday and 2 years later, my infatuation sustains. Up until Christmas 2022, my stance was left unbothered, until one of my closest friends gifted me thirty pure millilitres of Prada Paradoxe Eau De Parfum. However, I equally adore my Cloud perfume. What's my secret to achieving the scent of the sweetest and most sophisticated woman, Dolls?

One day I choose Ariana, the next I choose Prada, the next day I choose Ariana and then I choose Prada! Shopaholics, it truly is as simple as that. I like to keep people on their feet, Dolls, and I do that with this romantic rendezvous... On every new day, it's a guessing game. Will it be Ari who dominates or Prada?

Recently, I received the un-intended compliment of every girl's dreams! My Dad said he loved what I'd done with my eye makeup but do you want to hear a secret, Dolls? I wasn't wearing any! He figured that it was their natural darkness that caught his eye. And Dolls, I was thrown back to when Tim Burton's characters' makeup was trending... Most of the population agreed that dark circles were totally in! Dolls, you know I like to follow trends but not to the ninth degree. So, how do I keep in line with the trend but add my personal touch of individuality? I conceal underneath my eyes but I leave my eyelids makeup-free, stained by their own perfectly imperfect skin-colour shade. Who knew I'd be thanking my Dad for my go-to makeup secrets? Well, here I am... Thanks, Dad!

In 2022, my best friend gifted me the mascara of my dreams. I religiously wore her day in and day out. It separated most of my lashes, whilst coating them in the perfect amount of coat and making them voluminous. It was a near-impossible task to get me to even try a new mascara because over the years I've been through so many that I was convinced there wasn't a better mascara on the market. But, GIRL, was I wrong! This mascara was gifted to me by my Auntie (Obviously a Shopaholic Queen)! With one coat, every lash becomes perfectly separated, long beyond belief and stained in midnight black. A bonus is that you'll never have to worry about mascara transfer (A.K.A Black residue underneath your lash line) because its quality is truly top-tier.

The final aspect of the prettiest 2023 makeup routine you've ever seen is brow maintenance. In the past, I worked with the natural direction and fullness of un-plucked eyebrows but now?... I'm obsessed with neat brows that are plucked in all of the right places, especially to accentuate the natural arch I have. It ends up making my brows look like Angelina Jolie's... So I'm obviously fitting the pretty brief, Dolls!
