Bon Voyage: My Dream Voyage
One of my best girlfriends trusted in my ability to inspire her for her travelling rendez-vous. So, I'm putting myself to the test, Dolls. This is everywhere I'm dying to go, why and the essentials required to make the voyage a true dream come true.
FRANCE
I've been to Paris, France once before, Dolls but the experience was tainted for a number of reasons... a heartbreaking reality considering it was without-a-doubt the most exquisite, serene, historically and architecturally perfect place I'd ever been. To experience Paris and every other city in France is my ultimate voyage dream, without a tainted moment and with the only person I've ever wanted to see Paris with. My essentials:
Art Galleries
Eiffel Tower Restaurant
TOKYO
See the cherry blossoms
Ogle at the local cuisine and all of their interesting and creative ways to package food
Explore the culture: Geisha, sumo, temples
Nature explorations: forest walks, mountain hikes (e.g. Mount Fuji) & hot springs
ITALY
ROME: history
MILAN: fashion
VENICE: scenery
I've spent time in Europe but never in Italy, one of my top three dream voyage destinations. The people are so kind and warm, the history is laced in the sculptures and buildings and its attachment to fashion is of particular interest to the Shopaholic that is me. The scenery in Italy is beyond beautiful and I would want to explore it during the time of year when I could swim in its tiny beaches and roam Rome in a to-die-for midi dress that flowed in the summer, Italian breeze.
Dream Attractions: Leaning Tower Of Pisa, Colosseums & Trevi Fountain.
I've kept this one short and sweet, Dolls, not based on importance but a belief that when travelling, having minimal direction is best because it's all of the hidden streets and unexpected avenues that take you to your most breathtaking, memorable experiences.
