Preaching Pink
Recently, a dear friend of mine and myself were discussing the Shopaholic lifestyle and we pondered upon the phrase 'Preaching Pink'. It was the most perfect Blog Post title and I am here to present you with the scope of mastering the art of the 'Preaching Pink' lifestyle.
Dolls, it's a Shopaholic sin to preach anything that you don't know like the back of your hand. To preach pink, you must first be pink. Being pink isn't easy, Shopaholics... It takes dedication, consistency and devotion. Pink is the most powerful colour considering it combines two qualities that are often separated: sweetness and boldness. Embodying pink involves embracing the sweetness, daintiness and prettiness of your femininity whilst also embracing the boldness, strikingness and confidence of your feminity. Don't let anybody push you around... Instead, speak your mind with grace, eloquence and compassion. There is nothing pinker than a Shopaholic who, in a humble fashion, is sure of her place in the world.
Now that you understand the nature of pink, it's time to preach, Dolls. Preach pink with darling pink bows, clothes, jewellery, nails, accessories, blush & shoes. There is no overdoing pink. The limits to preaching pink are limitless. But most importantly, you mustn't be understated. It's not enough to preach pink with the objects you own... You must get vocal and let your passion be known to the world. Adding pink to your vocabulary involves speaking of your adoration for the colour, sharing where you bought your pink items from and releasing photos of yourself dressed from head to toe in what you preach. Whether your listeners are Shopaholic insiders or outsiders, pink is never a wasted word.
Finally, Dolls, now that you are pink and know how to preach pink, it's time to find the people who accept your pink. It's important to be who you truly are no matter the crowd, but environments that lack a sense of belonging are never ideal for long-term mental health. The people who accept your pink are the people who you can discuss your fashion idols, bucket list le maquillage products & all other Shopaholic fantasies with. These are the people who let you be unashamedly you. They don't have to entirely understand why pink holds such a special place in your heart, but they do have to hold a special place in their heart for you. In turn, they should point out pink clothes, pink cars & pink shops to you because they know it will make your pink heart skip a pink beat. Remember, Dolls, never let anybody stop you in your perfect, pink Shopaholic tracks!
